It was found in 1959 when Engr. Alberto "Albert" M. Gomez set up a television studio in Muntinlupa City, where he grew up in. The 1st station was branded RBM 44 (callsign DWAG-TV) with a 1,000-watt transmitter. Its programming were mostly shows from the United States & 3 local shows (Allan Gomez Show, Kuwentong Pilipino & RBM News). At that time, its screen was grayscale. In 1965, RBM started to broadcast in color. In late 1959, RBM expanded to the whole philippines. It began broadcasting DYAG 44 in Cebu & DXAG 44 in Davao. From 1972 to 1980, since Albert Gomez was a friend of Former President Ferdinand Marcos, RBM did not shut down. Instead, it became an affiliate of MBS, wherein it brought some simulcasts. Venturing into EntertainmentIn 1983, it began making entertainment shows. The 1st 3 shows were Dekada '70, Ayos Lang, Pare Ko & AGahan. After the martial law, it created more. It is known as the home of some of Gilda Olvidado's drama stories. In 1986, Albert's son, Adam R. Gomez started airing his own late night show, The Late Night Show with Adam Gomez, which became the longest late night show in the philippinrs. In 1990, RBM created a talent show Star of Radiance (seasons 1 - 4). However, due to financial problems, it ceased in 1994. In 1990, it began making game shows, starting with Game Time. Radio OperationIn 1959, DWEZ-AM started airing. In a few months it boosted its power to 40,000 watts attempting to reach the whole philippines. Its studios & transmitters are located in AM Compound near RBM Tower. In April 28, 1980, RBM started operating a 10,000-watt FM Station called 89.5 Eazy FM (callsign DWEZ). It playing 70s and 80s music in a masa way, commercials, 2 DJs speaking Tagalog, its slogan "Sikat ka ba?" and a recorder saying "Ito ang sikat sa Kabuong Maynilaan, 93.5 Eazy FM Sikat ka ba?" In late 1980, 4 Eazy FM Stations were added: 89.5 Eazy FM in Cebu (DYEZ) and Davao (DXEZ) in late 1980. In 1982, 92.7 Eazy FM (DZEZ) Laoag started airing. After the defunction of DXLA 99.5 The Voice of America (owned by First United Broadcasting Corporation) shut down, 99.5 Eazy FM (DXZE) in Zamboanga opened in early 1995.
